1.  JABATAN PEMBANGUNAN KEMAHIRAN (JPK)

The Department of Skills Development is an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources for co-ordination and control of training skills for Malaysian citizens. It researches and develops standards to evaluate job expertise and competency.

 


2.  THE INTERNATIONAL DIVING SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION (IDSA)

The International Diving Schools Association (IDSA) was formed in 1982 with the primary purpose of developing common International Diving Standards.

 


3.  AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY (AWS)

The American Welding Society was founded in 1919 as a non-profit organization to advance the science, technology and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying. 

 


4.  CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT BOARD (CIDB)

The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) was established in 1995 under the Construction Industry Development Act (Act 520) to develop the capacity and capability of the construction industry through enhancement of quality and productivity by placing great emphasis on professionalism, innovation and knowledge in the endeavour to improve the quality of life.

 


5.  SARAWAK SKILLS

Sarawak Skills Development Centre (PPKS) Miri Branch was launched on 29 May 2007. The regional office in Miri will cater to the communities in Sarawak’s northern region both for the school leaver’s programmes and skills enhancement training for industrial workers. Currently, these centres have offered Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Technician, Computer System, Office Management and Commercial Diving courses. Sarawak Skills Miri has been organizing skills upgrading programmes for the present workforce, specially targeted for the industrial sector in the state.

 


6.  PERDA-TECH

The PERDA Advanced Technical Institute or (PERDA-TECH) is an institution that offers various skills training to SPM school leavers. PERDA-TECH is located in Bukit Panchor, Nibong Tebal, Seberang Perai Selatan, Penang and has started operating in 1989 as the PERDA Training Center (PLP). PERDA-TECH has also been recognized as an Accredited Center by the Skills Development Department of the Ministry of Human Resource Development to issue the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM). In addition, PERDA-TECH has also received recognition from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) in the field of study offered as well as from professional bodies such as CISCO, The Welding Institute (TWI) and CIDB.

 


7.  JOHOR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (JOHOR SKILLS)

Johor Skills Development Centre (JOHOR SKILLS) was established in 1993 by Johor Corporation with the objective to produce skilled and semi-skilled workforce by providing Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) and skills upgrading to the future workers.

 



8. KISMEC (KEDAH INDUSTRIAL SKILLS AND MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT CENTRE)

KISMEC is one of the leading Centre of Excellence for TVET in Malaysia, that offer numerous professional certification upskilling and reskilling programmes for SPM/STPM leavers, Diploma/Degree graduates, and workforces from various backgrounds.

 


9.  UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA, BINTULU

UPM, a leading research university in Malaysia is located in Serdang, next to Malaysia’s administrative capital city; Putrajaya. As a world-renowned centre of learning and research, UPM has attracted students and staff from all around the world making it a well-respected global entity.

 


10.   UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA TERENGGANU

The Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (University of Malaysia, Terengganu) or UMT, formerly known as Kolej Universiti Sains dan Teknologi Malaysia (Malaysian University College of Science and Technology) or KUSTEM, is a university in Kuala Nerus District, Terengganu, Malaysia. It was officially chartered on 1 February 2007.

 


11.   INSTITUT ALAM SEKITAR MALAYSIA (EIMAS) DIVING TEAM ALAM SEKITAR MALAYSIA

Establishment of the DOE diving team who are certified to carry out enforcement work in the water body area, especially to carry out the inspection of the conditions for the approval of the EIA Report and the collection of sediment samples of the water.

 


12.   JABATAN HAL EHWAL VETERAN (JHEV)

JHEV was established on October 11, 2000. It was placed under the administration of the Ministry of Defense Malaysia. JHEV officially started operations on January 1, 2001, located at Medan Tuanku, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur. The main objective of this department is to assist Malaysian Armed Forces retirees in improving their socioeconomic status after completing their service in the ATM.
